| Shows I attended in oct/shows I will attend in nov | 1 | | Pianos Become The Teeth Keep You
Yusss. Saw them with Suis La Lune and Milk Teeth. 'twas a pretty good show but I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be, but it was cool. | 2 | | SOAK Before We Forgot How to Dream
Went to this show with my crush (well, that won't lead anywhere but who cares), and I was... a bit letdown. The sound on her album is a lot better than what she delivered live.
She plays some kind of pop/indie/folk-type of thing for the unitiated. | 3 | | Andy McKee Art of Motion
This was a great fucking show. Been digging him for almost 10 years now, and I never actually thought that I would get to see him, but yeah it was good. Funny how his most well-known song, "Drifting", was the only one that sounded like he messed up on.
Fingerstyle guitarist for those of you who haven't heard of him. | 4 | | Low Roar Low Roar
This surprised me. I decided in the last second to go to this show, I had barely seen that they were supposed to play here, but i'm so happy I went. The vocalists voice was just perfect live. And their use of electronics was more prominent live than on album which I also enjoyed. | 5 | | Mick Jenkins The Water[s]
NOW TO SHOWS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN YET:
It's a free show (it's tomorrow) and i've really liked what i've heard so far from him, so i'm definitely checking this out. | 6 | | Jamie xx In Colour
It's on tuesday, and I haven't bought a ticket yet, but I think I should. Should I? | 7 | | Julia Holter Loud City Song
This is actually on monday already, but I don't know if I'll manage 3 shows 3 nights in a row, my work is already killing me so I don't know. Anyone of you seen her live and can tell me if it's worth it? | 8 | | Swim Deep Mothers
Okay, so I enjoyed one or two songs from their first album, this new one is completely different and i'm not sure what I think, but this show is on wednesday, so let me change my mind... not sure if I can manage 4 shows 4 nights in a row, and my wallet won't like it either. | 9 | | Chelsea Wolfe Abyss
This is on thursday, so yeah um.... shows 5 nights in a row. I've already bought my ticket for this and i'm pretty stoked, I think this could turn out to be pretty effing cool. | 10 | | Purity Ring Another Eternity
11/8: I don't know why I haven't bought tickets for this yet. I love Purity Ring and they delivered one of my favorite shows i've ever been to just earlier this year, and now they're back and playing in a bigger venue. | 11 | | Hop Along Painted Shut
11/17: This is also a free show at a small bar here in Stockholm. I'm stoked. | 12 | | Destroyer Poison Season
11/19: Haven't really listened that much to him but i've enjoyed what i've heard. Maybe I should go? | 13 | | Kamasi Washington The Epic
11/25: Yeah I mean... I just feel like I HAVE to see this. | 14 | | Veil of Maya Matriarch
11/27: Playing here with Periphery, and although i've seen both bands, I really want to see Veil Of Maya again, haven't seen them since 2009-ish, so it feels like it's about time now. Oh yeah, Elliot Coleman's new band Good Tiger is supporting, might be cool. | 15 | | Troye Sivan Wild
11/30: I love Troye Sivan, no shame. The tickets actually sold out in less than a minute, and somehow they don't seem to want to upgrade the venue, so I guess i'm shit out of luck, but I'll keep hoping for a miracle of sorts. | |

10.31.15 | Also, this shows are in november as well, but i'm not sure if I want to check them out:
9/11: Built To Spill
10/11: Oh Wonder
12/11: Beach House
13/11: Torche
13/11: Zella Day
14/11: Zedd
15/11: Father John Misty
23/11: Ne Obliviscaris
28/11: Craft Spells
| LotusFlower
10.31.15 | I think a Zedd show would be fun, even if I'm not too fond of his music. | robotmagician
11.01.15 | I saw Pianos last December with Circa Survive and they ruled. Saw them just recently with mewithoutYou/Menzingers and it was extremely underwhelming, and I'm pretty sure it was the second show of the tour!
Saw Kamasi Washington a while ago. Amazing set, but the bassist Miles Mosely absolutely stole the show with his song 'Abraham' my god, it was fantastic. And they played for two hours!
| Sniff
11.01.15 | What about GY!BE? | Sniff
11.01.15 | And Kurt Vile? | SwanSoup
11.07.15 | Robotmagician: I've actually never seen them before, but I feel like they lacked a bit of energy with their new sound. It's like they're still not comfortable with their new direction, because they lacked the stage presence that a band that plays more mellow music needs, but at the same time it doesn't work if they had been all crazy like I can imagine they used to be when they still played screamo. So yeah it was underwhelming.
Sniff: Never been a huge fan of either, tbh! I was thinking of MAYBE seeing GY!BE just because they're legends, but nah, I don't feel like spending money on it.
Anyway I should another another show, i'm PROBABLY going to Son Lux 11/10 as well. | Ovrot
11.07.15 | well I saw GWAR
i think i'm the clear winner here | DoofusWainwright
11.07.15 | Listen to the last three Destroyer albums as his current set is 90% taken from those and if you like the sound of those albums go see him. |
