Every Confirmed For 2015 Album I'm Excited For
Lots of good stuff coming up. Unless I made a mistake, this is the order they release in. |
1 | | Iron Maiden The Book of Souls
Single was good, not bad, not great. But we all know that the real interesting tracks will be those over 10 minute epics that the post-2000 Maiden is ever so full of. Hoping for a more engaging listen than The Final Frontier though. It would be cool if it had more of A Matter of Life and Death vibe, but we'll see. |
2 | | The Front Bottoms Back On Top
Each track they've released that seemed average at first has grown on me. Idk where the hell their charm from the last two albums went though because it really doesn't seem to be here. Hopefully the rest of the album sounds better. |
3 | | CHVRCHES Every Open Eye
First single was great. Their last album had some really great songs (The first 3, Recover, Science/Visions) but I couldn't fully get into the rest. Hopefully that will change since they are a very talented group and this album should include plenty of excellent material. |
4 | | Silversun Pickups Better Nature
Nightlight seemed to be a good progression for this band that takes elements from both Swoon and Neck of the Woods and it paid off wonderfully. Really excited to hear what else they will bring to the table since all of their material has been fantastic. |
5 | | Deafheaven New Bermuda
First single was awesome. I'm not a Sunbather worshiper but that was definitely a good listen. Black Metal really isn't my forte, but I always have a good time with this band and hopefully this album will live up to the hype and whatnot. |
6 | | Icarus the Owl Pilot Waves
Skysweeper was outstanding and now I just need the rest of it. These guys get better with each already excellent release. Honestly, they are probably the best band I have found in years. |
