Vinyl Adds (Bin-Addiction)
Out of control. Out of control. Out of control.
But, seriously though, I found some good stuff and some dece deals on used material. |
1 | | All She's My Ex
Black "10 Featuring 'She's My Ex' and one of my favourite All tunes of all time, 'Crazy'. Only a couple of bucks too. |
2 | | Antioch Arrow In Love with Jetts/The Lady Is a Cat
Black. It's actually 'The Lady Is A Cat' with the lovely Gravity Records stencil art on thick cardstock. Always good to build the roots screamo collection and it was fairly cheap as well. |
3 | | At the Drive-In In/Casino/Out
Clear. Reissue. Used and cheap, and it good shape as well. Second favourite release from these post-hardcordians. |
4 | | Bad Brains I Against I
Black. If you don't know about this record, and you live around the Midwest - we should do lunch. I love meeting human oddities (Just kidding. You're not odd if you haven't listened to this. Really) |
5 | | Ben Folds Five Whatever and Ever, Amen
Black. First time on wax? Not sure if this was pressed before, but either way it's cool to own a copy of it. I'm embarassed by how much it cost though. |
6 | | Black Cross Screaming
Clear. "7 through Initial. Contained the second song from Art Offensive. |
7 | | Steve Gunn and The Black Twig Pickers Seasonal Hire
Trans. Yellow. I'm, by no means, well-versed in traditional Appalachian folk music - but I certainly dig everything these cats have released. |
8 | | Bold Looking Back
Black. My favourite release from these late-eighties hardcore vets. 'Looking Back' influenced a lot of my favourite post-aught melodic/metallic hardcore releases (With Honor and Champion - I'm looking at you). Also - Tom Capone. |
9 | | Michael Bolton Can I Touch You...There?
It was a buck! A buck man! It even comes with an extended cut of the song (Just in case the 'radio editted' version wasn't excruciating enough). Gliding down the Amazon, manfreid. |
10 | | Cloak/Dagger Lost Art
White. It was six bucks on the Jade Tree distro site. You're going to get hammered for shipping either way, so why not? |
11 | | Common Rider Last Wave Rockers
Black. I've been searching for this one for around eight years or so. Sure, a body can make an attempt on Discogs - but whats the fun in that (No offense to any that utilise said service. I'm sure it's great). I absolutely LOVE this record! Chill vibes and catchy choruses. In my opinion, easily my favourite work by Jesse Michaels. |
12 | | Company Flow Funcrusher
Coke Bottle Green. Reissue. I certainly enjoy anything featuring El-P and 'Funcrusher Plus' is a classic. |
13 | | The Cure Let's Go To Bed
Black. Sire Records single. My favourite Cure song. Too dang catchy. |
14 | | Drive Like Jehu Drive Like Jehu
Trans. Red. Reissue. Loopy post-hardcore/emo? Glad they seem intent on keeping these in print. |
15 | | Envy Insomniac Doze
Black. Temporary Residence. |
16 | | Eternal Sleep Belief In The Truth of Nothing
Trans. Green. More Harm Reduction metalcore goodness. |
17 | | Fury Ressurection
Early Jason Farrell band. I love everything he's been a part of, and this is no exception. More on the hardcore side (a'la Swiz-zy) |
18 | | Jeff Rosenstock We Cool?
Opaque Blue/White Swirl. Criminally catchy. |
19 | | Shikari / Louise Cyphre Split
Germany and the Netherlands blasting chaotic screamo. I miss Level Plane so much. |
21 | | Minor Threat Minor Threat
Green cover. Cheap and I needed wall art. |
22 | | Napalm Death Apex Predator - Easy Meat
Opaque Red. Raaaaaaaaaaaaaage! |
23 | | Purity Ring Another Eternity
Clear. I'll probably get crap for posting this, but ohhhh wells. I enjoy it, even if it doesn't quite stack up to 'Shrines'. |
25 | | Social Circkle City Shock
Black. Cheap and one of my favourite records from 2009. Reminds me of the softer side of Boston's 80's hardcore assault. |
26 | | Steel Nation The Harder They Fall
Trans. Blue. Harm Reduction metalcore with a bit of hesher flair. Colour me crazy, but it's definitely my favourite metallic-hardcore release of 2015 (Thus far) |
27 | | Title Fight Hyperview
Black. I'll probably be crucified alive, but I think this is their best release. |
28 | | Torche Harmonslaught
Opaque Grey. |
29 | | Ultra Dolphins Why Are You Laugh?
Split Opaque White/Yellow. What a bunch of odd fellows! Lovely noise though. |
30 | | Ultra Dolphins Mar
Gold w/ Silver Splatter. See above. |
31 | | Touche Amore/Self Defense Family Self Love
Opaque Grey. This collab is fantastic! |
32 | | Wrong (FL) Stop Giving
Black. I love Helmet, and these guys. |
