| Iron Maiden ranked | 1 | | Iron Maiden Brave New World
Their best album due to return of Dickinson and Smith. Their first album with 3 Guitars inherently more amazing than alot of their old albums, one of the best comeback albums of all time.
Favorite tracks: Love almost every song equally but the 3 best are: Out of the silent planet, The thin line between love and hate and The Wickerman | 2 | | Iron Maiden A Matter of Life and Death
Second best because of the overall theme and strong message of the album and getting most out of all members of the band.
Favorite tracks: The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg, The longest day, For the greater good of god, The legacy | 3 | | Iron Maiden Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
An amazing album from the glory days of iron maiden, great synth, great guitars great everything.
Favorite tracks: Can i play with madness, Only the good die Young, Infinite dreams | 4 | | Iron Maiden The Book of Souls
So this came out yesterday, and ive heard it about 3-4 times and im relieved to say that IM can still produce good shit like this, there isn't a single song on this album that i dislike.
Favorite songs: The red and the black, Empire of the clouds, Tears of a clown, If eternity should fail | 5 | | Iron Maiden Dance of Death
Everything except for the album cover is fantastic, great lyrics, great performance, I especially enjoy the synth on this album and the prog elements in paschendale
Favorite tracks: Paschendale, Dance of Death, Journeyman | 6 | | Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time
Not sure how to describe this one, my favorite songs from this one just stick out too much for it to be any lower on the list.
Favorite tracks: Wasted years, Stranger in a strange land, Alexander the great, The loneliness of the long distance runner | 7 | | Iron Maiden Powerslave
Many mean this is maidens best album, i disagree to an extent that sure its an amazing album but i honestly enjoyed every album above this one more. But overall a fantastic album
Favorite tracks: Rime of the ancient Mariner, 2 Minutes to midnight, Aces high, The Duellists
Favorite Tracks: Coming Home, The Alchemist, When the wild wind blows | 8 | | Iron Maiden The Final Frontier
Their latest album, contains alot of great tracks showing that in 2010 they havent lost their touch and can produce an amazing album with great writing and performance.
Favorite Tracks: Coming Home, The Alchemist, When the wild wind blows | 9 | | Iron Maiden Piece of Mind
Their second album with Dickinson, and a great one at that, i enjoy most songs but some stick out more than others.
Favorite tracks: Flight of Icarus, Die with your boots on, Revelations | 10 | | Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast
Their first album with Dickinson, others would probably rank this alot higher, but im a lot bigger fan of the maiden after blaze bailey so this one gets this spot sadly, even though its on par with the other albums and i love it for what it is. It includes one of my favorite maiden songs of all time, Hallowed be thy name, so im sad that its this low on the list. (I put Piece of mind above it because there are more songs on there that I enjoy)
Favorite tracks: Children of the damned, Hallowed be thy name, The Prisoner | 11 | | Iron Maiden Killers
Their second album with Paul Di'anno, and even though i never really cared much for him, i still think this is a greatly executed album by Iron Maiden and it has alot of enjoyable tracks.
Favorite Tracks: Murders in the rue morgue, Drifter, Wrathchild, Innocent exile, Killers | 12 | | Iron Maiden Iron Maiden
Their debut album, as stated before not a favorite since i never really enjoyed Di'anno, but nevertheless, a pretty great album. "A tree stands tall but not without its roots" is a saying i think is appropriate for this album
Favorite tracks: Prowler, Phantom of the opera, Iron Maiden | 13 | | Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark
This is where the line of bad albums begin, Fear of the dark being the least shitty. There are a few gems on this album, the rest is all around pretty meh
Favorite tracks: Judas be my guide, Chains of misery, Afraid to shoot strangers | 14 | | Iron Maiden The X Factor
I do not like Blaze Bayley, i think hes an awful singer, the only good thing he ever did with IM was apparently providing writing for the song Dream of mirrors for the album Brave New World. I think his singing style completely ruined this album and Virtual XI
Favorite tracks: Lord of the Flies, Sign of the Cross | 15 | | Iron Maiden Virtual XI
This album is really, really repetitive and i just dont enjoy it at all. There is one single song i can tolerate, and that is Dont look to the eyes of a stranger (i dont know why i enjoy it) | 16 | | Iron Maiden No Prayer for the Dying
This one is just an embarrasment. The awful singing by Bruce, the bad writing and the poor production values of this album just makes me want to cry. I have no favorite tracks. | |
