I am glad that I met a girl and fell in love then had the experience to fall out of love. It is pretty much impossible to be prepared for something like this, even if you have already gone through something similar. So the only way to really get stronger would be to not get attached that much to another person ever again.

Or rather dependant on their intuition and instincts than on logical thinking, so knowing what you could have done better might not help in the future.

So being in and out of love does wisen you up a little bit, and while getting your heart broken sucks it does ultimately, in my own opinion, prepare you for that one glorious, all-consuming great love somewhere down the line. Now, I look back on it as a lesson. The album is a fucking nostalgic lesson for me.

It's cruel to discount the possibility, and honestly a bit conceited, some people could see STD's as a badge of honor and a mark of pride and experience, and even through their cocks might be rotting off of their bodies, they have the internal satisfaction of their own abilities and live stories and whatnot and I've had a yearlong friends-with-benefits relationship with a girl who had genital warts and if you pretend they're just little moles or blemishes it's easy to overlook and very much possible to ignore the smell too once you get into the more odorous fluids like bile or feces, and on that note I'm still STD free.
