01.08.15 | The second half isn't as great as the first, but Full Metal Jacket is still a pretty great film, I just love that first half too darned much, mostly thanks to R. Lee Ermey and Vincent D'Onofrio's amazing performances. Ermey made up most of those classic insults too, seeing as how he was in the military, for about 11 years, for over 10 years before the film was made in 1986-1987. |
