Give Me Tunes
I've been enjoying these ones recently and I need more jammy jamz |
1 | | Thank You Scientist Maps of Non-Existent Places
I hope they have a follow up to this soon. Some of these tracks are some of the best I've
ever heard. "Feed Your Horses", "Blood on The Radio", "My Famed Disappearing Act", and "A
Salesman's Guide To Non-Existence" are all perfect works. |
2 | | There Will Be Fireworks The Dark, Dark Bright
The more powerful moments on the album are superior to the chill-indie ones, but it's all still
really really good. |
3 | | Gerard Way Hesitant Alien
This grew on me a lot more than I expected. I'm actually very surprised with the variety this
album has. |
4 | | Artifex Pereo Time In Place
"Liable for Tragedy" is one of my favorite soft tracks of the year. "No Stranger To Worry" and
the last few tracks are amazing as well. Saw them live mid July and they killed it. |
5 | | Devin Townsend Ocean Machine: Biomech
I've been jamming a bit of his lengthy discog when I'm in my heavier mood as of recently. A
lot of great great stuff. |
6 | | Night Verses Lift Your Existence
I kinda have only listened to this a bit but what I've heard rules and will listen to more when I
get the chance. |
7 | | Stolas Living Creatures
Saw them live a few weeks ago and they were insanely tight. Great debut. |
8 | | Hail The Sun Wake
Very good album. Needs more listens but they definitely did something right with this |
9 | | Haken Restoration
I've been jamming Darkest Light and just heard Crystalized. Song of the year contender for
sure. |
10 | | Anberlin Vital
I've basically been listening to this band's whole discography. This is probably my favorite
(along with the Devotion B-Sides like ISJW and Safe Here, but besides those, they make it too
long to listen to in one sitting). I can say this has become one of my favorite bands in the
past few months. "Little Tyrants" is one of the best jams I've ever heard and the combination
of "Modern Age" and "God, Drugs, and Sex" is so unbelievably powerful. I got a chance to see
them at Warped, but I wasn't able to make their final tour unfortunately. I'm glad I was able
to appreciate them before they ended though. |
