Plagerism Or A Little Too Much Inspiration?

I think this one is more obvious but I looked up a ton of information on it as well. Franz Ferdinand wrote a song called "Take me Out" back in 2004. The song is a modern day classic of Alternative Rock to me. The band has grew on me to be one of my favorite bands of the 2000's era along with The Strokes and Audioslave. Then 2007 a band known as Finger Eleven wrote a song called "Paralyzer". The main riff in the song sounds so much like Take me Out I just thought it had to be a coincidence. The song sounds so much like the main riff in Take Me Out it's not even funny. I just had to get this off my chest. I have heard that the guys from Finger Eleven were inspired by Franz Ferdinand when writing there own song. But I think there is too much to think about... I won't go into too much detail anymore. But hear both songs and see where I am going at. Thanks.
