Tyrael 07.22.14	Betray, Mitch was one of the most generic singers in deathcore, not to mention that his lyrics were piles of steaming shit Eddie leaving the best active deathcore outfit for this band of misfits is a fucking disgrace

(for the time) Mitch had some of the most piercing highs & deepest lows. His mid-range game was dece too, clarity was pretty decent too (you could hear what the fuck he was saying). Mitch's reproduction of his sound from studio recording to a live show too is still unmatched by anyone i've ever seen (minus phil bozeman). Hermida wishes he had the range of mitch and dreams that he could sound as good as he does on YCSM live So there.

Gameofmetal 07.22.14	He pretty much does the same deathcore highs and lows as Mitch. I wouldn't want to say which has better range. Eddie does have an odd inflection in his screams though, just in the way he enunciates things IMO.

XfingTheSullen 07.23.14	And I've personally met lots of corekids who admire Akerfeldt or Hegg for their growls. can't argue, they're deeper and have more meat to them than what most deathcore vocalists can do.

Pretty sure like every vocalist is different and even though deathcore and death metal are similar in some aspects making a general statement thats so vague about a subject that is completely individual is sort of useless. Tonnes of deathcore bands have vocalists that screech instead of growling like Suicide Silence for example, I don't really think that how throaty your vocals are determines whether your dm or dxc. I suppose deathcore vocalists are a little more experimental in their approach e.g. pig squeels and other weird sounds but I'd assume any dm vocalist over dxc stye instrumentals wouldn't sound that different at all.

Well, it would, but it definitely wouldn't be any less appealing, since he can do reasonable highs as well
