VheissuCrisis 07.15.14	Getting away from technology helps. Do exercise. Be in the sun as much as you can. I recently rode my bike to the top of a mountain, saw the whole city below, took photos, it was incredible.
Liiiam 07.15.14	There's not much that can motivate you to improve yourself, that has to be driven by you. I'm probably a shitty person to give you advice as I pretty much do the bare minimum to keep ahead (and tend to not make great decisions, like playing pokemon in every lecture for a year at uni). I'd sit down with a mate or family and just talk through what you want to do with your life, what your good at etc, then get them to help keep you on the path to where you need to be. There's loads of people who go back to university as mature students and do better for it cause they're older and more responsible. At the same time there are plenty of non graduate careers you can look into. Make a list of like 3 or 4 goals for each week/month/year and look at it every day and try to ensure you've done at least one thing that day to help reach one of your goals.

zakalwe 07.15.14	Hi dude. From the age of 8 i always had a sense of melancholy, and detachment that escalated to full blow depression in my early 20s. During these years I dropped out, felt isolated and was crushed by the fact I had under achieved and had no opportunity. Cultural tit bits of film, music, art etc will do absolutely fuck all to ease the blackness. Other people are everything, and will pull you through if their solid. Meanwhile focus on something really minor, a book you've never got round to reading and build up to other stuff. A place you've always wanted to go or something that will give you some sense of achievement. Learn something new whatever it may be. Opportunity will always present itself just grab it and do the best you can dude, meet new people, fall in love, have hope and lay off the weed.
KjSwantko 07.15.14	1. It sounds overly simplistic but start slowly demanding higher standards from yourself. Don't allow yourself to do things like dropping out. You're in control of your life......accept that responsibility and start making better decisions. 2. Start taking care of your body and training it physically.
MO 07.15.14	you have to realize that no matter how bad you think you have it, someone out there is in a much, much worse spot than you. once you realize that you start to see life in a totally different light, which will hopefully lead you to focusing more on exactly what you want and just going for it. that's it really. other than what Kj said ala lifting weights, just be adventurous and get yourself unstuck
YakNips 07.15.14	life is beautiful because everything is temporary and this life we're in is whatever you make it for yourself. just try to keep that mindset. works wonders. just always try to enjoy life as much as possible by any means without hurting others.

Thuglifethor 07.16.14	Start taking nature excursions, maybe with a small speaker or headphones on so you can surround yourself with things that clear your mind and make you feel more peaceful. From there you could maybe start developing a path to become more unstuck, but the nature part is always a good first step for me

Feather 07.16.14	I can tell you that moving away normally can help make things a lot clearer. My senior year of high school I somehow ended up in a huge falling out with basically every friend I had. I moved away to college in a different state and basically don't have to deal with anyone any more that helped to put me in such a low place. On top of that I caused myself a lot of issues with excessive drinking and black outs. I found myself really hating waking up in the morning. I was able to correct this issue by accepting that it was an issue and cut it out. Having such a solid group of new friends really helped me out and its important to be able to be open with your friends and family to talk through your issues. Thats all I really got. Everything is different for different people. I'm sure you will figure it all out man.
