Rowan5215 07.11.14	oh sweet I can finish my story now yaaay okay so as I said, me and my friends are hitchhiking through some creepy-ass woods to the cabin in the woods from Evil Dead. and I don't remember it all that well, but I distinctly remember this weird-ass dip in the road we were walking, like a canyon, not that wide (we could probably jump to the other side) but really long so that we couldn't see either end when we looked left or right. anyway we walk down and I remember hearing this creepy-ass noise (what it was I have no idea, indiscriminate zombie noise 101) and I saw this light through the trees that looked like a campfire. For whatever reason we weren't fazed by this, continued to the cabin, it was in a state of disrepair but we thought it would be awesome to stay in anyway. Now here's the point where the dream gets fucking weird and different from your generic zombie dream, because instead of being freaked out and attempting to escape the zombie onslaught, all my best friends who were there with me suddenly became really eager to hunt and kill the zombies for sport, and they were suddenly these really bloodthirsty people that I didn't even recognise as my friends. And because I was terrified as hell I literally legged it back to my own house through these woods, being chased by these weird super-fast zombie things, while my friends were slaughtering and being slaughtered by these zombies who were super-intelligent and building traps for them and shit. and so yeah that's basically it, noteworthy because for me seeing my friends as evil was way scarier than your typical zombified motherfuckers
Phlegm 07.11.14	i dont dream. once u take control of your mind and your third eye (fuck the illuminati) you will understand that dreaming is a portal that higher powers use as a gaming device, twisting and converting your thoughts into a pallet of whatever they choose. you need to practice Occlumency twice a day in order to gain full control of your mental capabilities and to prevent your body being used a chess piece in the merciless game of life. shoutbox me if u need help with this and we will set up skype lessons. Rowan5215 07.11.14	And now that I reflect on it, the way my friends acted was exactly the way Holloway acts in House of Leaves if anyone's read it, the cabin was from Evil Dead, and the zombies looked and acted like the creatures in Amnesia: the Dark Descent so that probably explains where a lot of it came from lol
demigod! 07.11.14	lmao phlegm where'd you dig up that gem @rowan that's pretty freaky. i imagine seeing your friends as essentially monsters takes it to a whole nother, more personal level. all my "scary" dreams have essentially just been me and some weird thing(s), which is scary enough

osmark86 07.11.14	I had a very realistic dream where I was on a bus that crashed into the sea during a sunny day. I distinctly remember how everyone was screaming and how it got darker as the bus sunk deeper and how I was looking for one of those hammer things to knock a window with. it felt so real and was pretty terrifying. woke up shortly after that.
Rowan5215 07.11.14	Yeah dude the zombies would have been bad enough but idk seeing my friends like that, almost feels like my mind is taking a dig at the things I care about most, it was fucking weird. never want to have that shit again give me jumpscares any day also I forgot to add that I THINK (not sure) that not all my friends changed, just some of them, but the ones who came with me died anyway and once I got back to the town I got called a coward for legging it and leaving my friends to fight on their own, and I think that was about where I woke up Yeah House of Leaves is a fantastic book, don't expect any sort of closure from the plot but the general form and writing style is pretty genius. I'm playing through Amnesia right now and its goddamn unsettling but still incredibly well made, I'm addicted

Rowan5215 07.11.14	Yeah Amnesia is fucking incredible, I got on the hype train late cos my friend got it for me but jesus christ Even when there are no monsters in sight its just fucking UNNERVING @os dude I know that feeling, along with the feeling you get immediately after you've woken from a dream by falling and you feel like you're still falling and about to hit the ground, its one of the worst feeling you can get

Wafflez 07.11.14	Mine was something like there was some voodoo cult that does some dance and then some massive minotaur thing comes out. For some reason I was under the premise this is some kind of horror movie shit so I'm kind of disappointed because it just looked like a ripped cow man thing. I ask it "Am i suppose to be scared lel" and it's like "yeah". And then I shit my pants. I was like 7 and it was a recurring dream.

MoosechriS 07.11.14	i had a bad one about 4 years ago where it was as if i came too lying in a bath with no water in. I then realized i was chained and pinned to the bottom of the bath and a hooded figure was stood silently watching, putrid water started filling the bath as i uselessly fought to try and move. The water filled slowly all the while the hooded figure silently observed, as the water reached my face he leaned over me as my eyes blurred as the water covered them. All the while the face of the hooded figure remained dark and invisible, as i choked on the brown putrid water and started to feel my grip on life itself loosen i woke up. Most of my nightmares seem to revolve around my being killed by an unknown figure in a usually helpless situation. But that one stuck with me for quite a while.
Relinquished 07.11.14	this one occurred a few years after I had my drowned-at-sea episode I was at the scene and dove in the ocean, sunk like a boulder. turned my body to look at the surface which turned into solid ice. glanced at both side to see clear water stretch to infinity. below me was nothing but darkness. dark figure that had my semblance was at my 0 to my 180 from the "surface". chained me pulled me to the dark that kicked me up. nothing serious but it bothered me enough to draw it and remember it.

YoYoMancuso 07.13.14	Playing basketball outside my house and I look behind me and this freaky man in a plumber suit is standing by my back door with a pipe wrench. I stood there in my dream for what felt like 3 hours not making any moves because I was so terrified of what would happen. He just stood there, I don't even think he blinked.

L4titudes 08.14.14	list is old but had a dream I was falling through clouds.. pretty calming actually but then I woke up but my body didn't just my mind was awake and I couldn't move.. that's sleep paralysis for ya and it sucked
