I just meant the period when the genre really got going.
Metalcore and deathcore have definately died off in recent years.
Especially deathcore, with bands like Carnifex and Job for a cowboy moving toward standard death metal, BMTH is a post metal act now, Whitechapels new album is almost djent, BoO have turned full on technical djent. So did VoM.
Only the shitcunts are left in the dying genre (ie oceano, emmure).
