Music Through the "Ages"

Well I'm 18, and ever since I was 11 my favorite band usually held its place rfor about 1 year. rrThis list shows my transition through the ages... What rwere your favorite bands by age?
1 Band
Album

0-10: I was lame and didn't really like music...
2The Beatles
Magical Mystery Tour

11: While camping, music finally clicked with me for the first time when my Dad
showed me some stuff by The Beatles. I became obsessed in the lamest way possible.
3The Kinks
One for the Road

12: I tried expanding my stuff and found them (along with The Rolling Stones and
Aerosmith haha.) Basically my taste remained pretty bland and typical, but hey at
least I wasn't listening to something I'd be ashamed of now.
4Led Zeppelin
Physical Graffiti

13: Finally decided to check some other bands out there, got really obsessed with
them... and a couple of other 60s/70s artists. For some reason I didn't even bother
with anything newer than that.
5Nirvana
In Utero

14: My gateway into the 90s. I got a little too obsessed with this one... Also I found
Zappa towards the end of being 14.
6Frank Zappa
You Are What You Is

15: So I decided to go in deep with Zappa by buying a ton of his albums in a short
span of time. Still a huge fan today. By the time I turned 15 I was obsessed yet again.
He opened me up to experimentalism. By this point, my music collection was actually
pretty decent.
7The Smashing Pumpkins
Siamese Dream

16: After really diving into 90s-modern stuff, I decided that my favorite band was The
Smashing Pumpkins. After collecting all of their b-sides even. Eventually their spot at
#1 dwindled when I heard their 2000s stuff...
8Mr. Bungle
California

17: I heard California 1 month before I turned 17 and wow. It was basically everything
I was looking for at the time. Eventually after hearing their other 2 albums they
quickly became my #1. Mr. Bungle didn't have a ton of albums though so to satisfy
my obsession so I dug into Faith No More and Lovage which helped sustain it.
9Ween
Chocolate and Cheese

18: So a few months before I turned 18 I got into these guys and so far I've heard 5
of their albums and all I can say is these guys are certainly my current obsession and
I won't be done with them until I rip through their entire discography, fangasm all
over them and them move onto my next victim... I mean band.
