Chuck Schuldiner - Excellent, from his riffs to his solos.

Far Beyond Driven

Dimebag Darrel - His style is hard hitting and legendary, he was a great player.
4Slayer
Reign In Blood

Jeff Hanneman - The first guitarist and band to really blow me away with their
speed.
5Trivium
Ascendancy

Corey Beauleu - Some really cool and technical solos from this guy.
6Avenged Sevenfold
City of Evil

Synyster Gates - Not as much into these guys anymore, but syn was my first
introduction into putting good guitar work into music.
7Children Of Bodom
Follow The Reaper

Alex Laiho - Inventive and works really well with the keyboard player, Really
amazing player.
8Metallica
Ride The Lightning

James Hetfield & Kirk Hammet - James' tight rhythms and kirks nice leads work
together well.
9Black Sabbath
Paranoid

Tony Iommi - What can i say? The riffmaster himself.
10Arch Enemy
Khaos Legions

Micheal Amott - For both his work in Carcass and in Arch Enemy, love his style.
