Relationship Of Command Bridges/outros Ranked
RoC had a knack for catchy energetic bridges and outros. Because it's a
very important deal I decided to take half an hour to rank them. Anyway: |
11 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
11. Quarantined. Doesn't have a bridge or an outro. It's too bad because it's one
the best songs of the album. Oh well... |
10 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
10. Rolodex Propaganda: "Squirming through cuts in a throat cut it... cut it...". Too
similar to the rest of the song, although Cedric shows his versatility here. |
9 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
9. Invalid Litter Dept.: "Callous heels / numbed in travel / endless maps made / by
their scalpels". Good enough but pales in comparison to the rest of the song, which
suprisingly actually kinda makes half sense. |
8 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
8. Mannequin Republic: "Labor concentrated in this sheepless chapel / Labor
concentrated in this sheepless chapel". Actually, this bridge helps what otherwise
would be the less awesome song of the album. |
7 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
7. Non-Zero Possibility: "Fever bliss into central nervousness / bitten on the
entrance - I was bitten on the entrance" Bonus points here thanks to Cedric's
superb "T" letter pronunciation. |
6 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
6. Pattern Against User: "...sand falls through / time portals / these landfills -
immortal / and if this clock keeps beating down...". Relatabilty is not an ATD-I
strong point. |
5 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
5. Sleepwalk Capsules: "Lazarus threw the party / Lazarus threw the fight"
Fiiiiiiiighhhhhhht. |
4 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
4. Arcarsenal: "Have you ever tasted skin? sink your, sink your teeth in...". Cedric's
anthropophagite moment is also one of the best bridges of the album. |
3 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
3. Cosmonaut: "Position the stitches - like miles of torpedoes / Permission was
hinted - lungs that hollered in a sleeper hold". Great song, great bridge, no intention
of making sense whatsoever. |
2 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
2. Enfilade. Latin/salsa infused portion of the song is one of the best At the drive-
in/Mars volta moments... |
1 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
1. One Armed Scissor: "...'cause i'm a million miles away, will you get this letter,
jagged pulp sliced in my veins i write to remember...". This plus the awesome drum
fill is just one of those musical "moments"... |
