Top 100 Albums

Got nothing to do for like another 4 hours until this job interview rolls around so here are my top 100 albums and a description
1
2Nine Inch Nails
The Downward Spiral

This album, without question, has made an impact in my life. Stupidly enough, I discovered NIN about 3 years ago, and this was the first album I listened to by the guy because everyone thought it was the greatest thing ever. For once, they weren't wrong; every track here is spot-on and perfect. 'Hurt' is easily one of my favorite songs of all time.
3VNV Nation
Judgement

VNV Nation, without question, are one of my favorite bands of all time, and so is this album. I just can't begin to fathom how much of an influence this band has had on me over the past couple of years. Their music speaks to my soul, drives me to my best, and makes me feel like I'm not alone (their topics are honest, reflective, and compassionate). Judgement is by far my favorite album by these guys, and for good reason. I cherish this album (band in general).
4Assemblage 23
Defiance

Once again, another fantastic futurepop artist, this time with a 100% intact discography (some futurepop bands IMO have a very bad chemistry of releases). In short, this guy is a genius, and really has a knack for making powerful tunes. Defiance taught me a lot in life (emotional struggles, anxiety, overcoming obstacles) and to this day I still thank this album for it.
5Pearl Jam
Ten

Strikingly brilliant, warm, and emotionally driven, Ten is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. 'Release' brings a fresh aura of nostalgia for me, mostly directed towards the times I spent in California. Makes me think of all the good times I had there and how much life can really manage to suck as of now. Amazing album, something I also cherish.

Hefty Fine

For some reason this album really, really shined a light on me, and it probably shouldn't have, but it did. Every song here is amazingly catchy, fun, and a blast to listen to. Whether i'm feeling sappy, depressed, angry, or anxiety ridden like usual, these guys know how to bring me joy. Awesome album, every song here rules so hard.
11Korn
Life is Peachy

Nice album, really liked it a lot
12Korn
Follow the Leader

Yeah, yeah.... Korn. Honestly though, these guys are probably the most nostalgic band for me (no one has ever said that, right). Follow the Leader, in my humble opinion, will always be their best (next to Life is Peachy). Fantastic album, lots of catchy tunes
13BT
ESCM

My love for Trance will hopefully never diminish, and I hope it's the same for this album. Spiritually uplifting album, it's absolutely perfect and has some gorgeously written piano melodies capable of making almost anyone shed' a tear.
14Bloodhound Gang
One Fierce Beer Coaster

Perfect album, only this time sounding much more rawer and more gritty. Some insanely catchy tunes here
15Depeche Mode
Songs of Faith and Devotion

Perfect album, lots of awesome songs to uncover here.

The Marshall Mathers LP

Back in my angsty middle school days, I used to love this guy. Now though, I really don't, but you'll almost always find me in the mood for 'Criminal' or 'The Real Slim Shady.' I guess you could say this is one of my ultimate guilty pleasures.
