My Favorite Albums Of 2012

Once again; these are in my opinion the best albums of 2012.
1Linkin Park
Living Things

After A Thousand Suns I lost some hope for Linkin Park. I have been a long time fan of this band, and it was the first time they've dissapointed me... But this was a very strong comeback in my opinion! Linkin Park evolved their sound, yes, but they pleasured Hybrid Theory/Meteora fans again! Recommend tracks; Lost In The Echo, Victimized and Until It Breaks.
2Lacuna Coil
Dark Adrenaline

The same story as for Linkin Park; after Shallow Life I thought they went all poppy, but this album... WOW! Just great! Thank you Lacuna Coil, for releasing your best album to date! Recommend songs: Trip The Darkness, My Spirit & Give Me Something More.
3Katatonia
Dead End Kings

Katatonia never dissapointed me. After Night Is The New Day I thought they would never make a better album... But they did! Great job Katatonia! Recommend songs; Lethean, The Racing Heart and The Parting.
4This Is She
Nobody Is OK

I found out about This Is She, when they opened for Lacuna Coil while touring Europe. I immediately felt in love their mix of rock/dubstep. Alana Grace does a great vocal job on this EP. Give this (unknown) band a try! Recommend songs; Ghost, Brace Myself and Nobody Is OK.
5Ellie Goulding
Halcyon

I never heard of miss Goulding until I heard "Anything Could Happen" on the radio. I bought Halcyon and felt, once again, in love with music. I would descripe this album as electronic, a bit dark and poppy. Recommend songs; Don't Say A Word, Figure 8 and Dead In The Water
6 Sons of Irah
Legend

Sons of Irah is Belgium, death metal band I'v got to know on the RommelRock festival in Maasmechelen. They were the first band to play, and I really enjoyed their music. Unfortunately, the band split up, but their music will live on. Recommend track; Swam Dive (
7Deftones
Koi No Yokan

Deftones deliverd a very solid, nu-metal/rock album with Koi No Yokan. Recommend songs; Tempest and Rosemary.
8LIGHTS
Siberia

Siberia is big step-forward since The Listening. LIGHTS decided to expirement with dubstep in her songs, and she does a great job! An enjoyable album from begin to end. Recommend songs; Toes, Flux And Flow & Cactus In The Valley.
9 Nox Aeterna
Nightblood

Nox Aeterna are a Dutch melodic death metal band from Rotterdam. You can compare their music with acts like Children of Bodom. They brought out their first full-lenght album since 2004. A solid record (made in their home studio). Recommend track; Nightblood.
10Destine
Illuminate

Destine makes a step-forward with Illuminate. A more mature album than their first record. There's still a hope to learn, but still a good album! Recommend songs; A Thousand Miles, Wait Forever & Illuminate.
