This Won't Win Them Any Fans
Songs those bands shouldn't have made. They are either a massive drop in quality, a stylistic failure or just unbelievably silly. Or all of this.
Love Is The Answer
Well, we all know what's wrong with Weezer these days. So most people aren't waiting for a good album anymore. And Raditude surely wasn't. And if you had to single out one major fault on there, it possibly would be this damn crappy Beatles-imitation.
The expectations for Day & Age weren't that high to begin with, simply because they get less likeable with every album. Yet, this is such a poor combination of cheesy lyrics, over-the-top sound and pseudo-exotic mood it definitely is the worst piece of... well, let's just call it music, they've done so far.
Them going back to Pop Punk wasn't entirely a bad thing, even Derrick Whibley getting a softie wasn't, but him sounding like a 12 year old girl definitely is ridiculous.
They aren't in here twice because I don't like them, but because of the opposite. I really like their music, but songs like this crap are simply unbearable.
Farting With The Walkman On
The title already tells you enough about how bad this track is. The only reason this didn't make the Top 3 is that I don't expect too much from Jimmy Pop anyway.
Well, this was at least a disappointment for me, because actually I really like Under My Skin (her second LP). But this is not just what the word juvenile is all about, even on The Best Damn Thing it's the worst song.
Definitely the worst Offspring-spoof and with the synth-sounds and the crappy guest voice in the chorus it doesn't work in any way. Still somehow for me it's bearable.
This is already quite infamous, because fans booed when the band played it live. Anyway, although it is more than stupid and musically pointless, I never thought of it as anything else than a fun track.
Love Is Dangerous
All things that are wrong with a big part of their comeback LP are accumulating here. Powerless music, pseudo-meaningful lyrics and the cheap electric sounds that are nowhere near the best A&A-moments.
The perfect example why Billy Talent III wasn't exactly met with excitement. The reason is simple, it's just incredibly boring. The album itself is quite strong, but this is less than weak.
Shadow Of The Day
In fact I like this, that's why it's the additional eleventh song. But I know that most LP fans saw this as an insult and almost a betrayal to their nu-metal roots.
I know there are hundreds of songs that would deserve to be on the list. The simple reason why they aren't might be that I haven't heard them. Anyway, let me know what you think.
I like 9. But the rest is shit, yea
I like 9.
Aside from Genesis who were a great band, and maaybe Weezer,Blink and Billy Talent who are passable and had their moments, all of those bands are shiet anyway.
I think the worst thing about Shadow Of The Day is how blatantly it rips off With Or Without You
I love Abacab, and I even dig most of the pop stuff Genesis has put out in the 80's. That being said, Who Dunnit is a steaming pile of shit.

And when I saw LP, the chick in the row directly infront of me only ever heard that song, and asked her boyfriend why they were rapping and had a fit and left after they played SotD

They wish they could rip off that song.
you wanna talk about tool, let's talk about rosetta stoned
5 and 7 rule
2 and 11 are both in the top 3 on their respective albums.
4 is pretty typical for an offspring song. Can't really see how you'd dislike it more than others.
