Controversial Albums

The following are albums that have controversial, and I some cases, disturbing subject matter.
The Slim Shady LP

The album that gave me the motivation to write this list. Songs covered everything from killing his wife in front of his daughter, to having a girl die from mushrooms.
2 Slayer
Angel of Death

"Slayer detail Mengele's physical and psychological atrocities in graphic detail including experimental surgeries performed without anesthesia, transfusion of blood between twins, isolation endurance, gassing, injections with lethal germs, sex change operations, the removal of organs."
When the song came out, many critics believed them to be Nazi Sympathizers
3Rage Against the Machine
Rage Against the Machine

An album released only months after the LA Riots, sparked uproar for "Killing in the Name," a song directed towards the 4 policemen who were acquitted after severely beating Rodney King.
4Judas Priest
Stained Class

Makes the list due to a lawsuit made after a 19-yearold shot himself. The prosecutors insisted that a subliminal message instructing listeners to ?do it? had been included in the song and that this command had then led the young men to take their own lives.
Straight Outta Compton

Infamous for the song "Fuck the Police," the entire album spoke against law enforcement.
6Tyler The Creator

One of my least favorite albums of all time, Bastard is straight shock rap. But nonetheless it is controversial and people (somehow) enjoy it.
