Songs That Don't Get Talked About Enough

These are songs on fantastic albums that somehow slip through the cracks.
1Rush
Permanent Waves

Jacob's Ladder-I never hear this one get talked about except occasionally here on Sputnik. Come on. That riff at 1:35 might be the most jaw-dropping thing ever.
2Dinosaur Jr.
You're Living All Over Me

Tarpit-Very underappreciated song, perhaps the most shoegaze-influenced of the band's career. There's no other song in their catalog that really sounds like it, except MAYBE The Lung.
3System Of A Down
Steal This Album!

Chic n' Stu. This song is ridiculous, but it's also musically varied and pretty strong in every other respect. The transitions are seamless.
4Mahavishnu Orchestra
The Inner Mounting Flame

Dawn. The imagery I visualize from this song is so extremely vivid. Those guitar/keyboard sounds about 30 seconds in are heavenly.
5dredg
El Cielo

18 People Live In Harmony. Like many people, tracks 3, 10, 15 and 16 are my favorite off this record. However, this song is really something else. The bridge starting at 2:33 transports me to a simpler time.
