02.23.08 | Step 1: Ignore Balls, ignore Jebus.
Ignore most of what Serpento said (Zebrahead? Less than Jake? Fuck off).
Step 2: Ignore grimbo's "early Millencolin".
Do you want Ska, like, real actual ska, or do you want faggy ska-punk or shitty fucking pop-punk with trumpets? Because that's mostly all you've gotten so far.
Go with Toasters, go with Hepcat, even go with Skankin Pickle. By by all means do not bother with shitty bands like the Mad Caddies.
Right now, when it comes to Ska, I'm always going to be big on a few: the Pietasters, the Planet Smashers, the Slackers. King Django has his moments as well.
You really gotta figure out if you want ska, ska-punk or pop punk with trumpets. Because if it's not the first two 95% of these suggestion are moot. | Serpento
02.23.08 | Coke, fuck off. Honestly, anyone who recommends King Django and then bashes Mad Caddies for being faggy ska-punk deserves to be raped, among other things. | Cesar
02.23.08 | You should check out Energy by Operation Ivy, its a classic. | barbarian
02.24.08 | I'm with Coke. The Pietasters are my favorite ska band by far. | Aficionado
02.24.08 | Coke needs to be less hostile and cynical.
but oh wait this is mx, sorry! | Jimmy
02.24.08 | I remember the planet smashers being awesome when I saw them several years ago.
My only recommendation is tokyo ska paradise orchestra, if you can find it. | Ire
