Prog You Haven't Heard/of That's Totally Worth Your Time
Obscure but good proggy stuff that's got less than 10 ratings on this site. rGo for it babes.
Forgotten 70s Canadian prog gem.
Try: Phasors on Stun, Black Noise
Long-running Italian prog rock/metallers' breakthrough. Not bad at all, like Opeth
and Porcupine Tree.
Try: Right Before, This Ain't Another Love Song
Tim Bowness-featuring instrumental supergroup. Some rather long songs.
Try: Everyone in Sweden, Chic Hippo
Veteran UK Porcupine Tree-alike band, this is supposedly their semi-breakthrough.
Obviously not since it has 0 ratings.
Try: God Is Dead, Killing Me
Anywhere But Home
Promising Italian symphonic prog rock/metallers' debut.
Try: Anywhere But Home, Images of Mind
Earth to World
Another faux-prog solo project. This guy's friends with the dude who did The Mean Kitty song.
Try: Post Secret, Oh! The Drama
Faux-prog solo-project featuring the eternally loved Gavin Harrison on drums.
Try: Chalk Lines
|8||Herd of Instinct|
Recently formed US art rock/prog band's debut. Impressive stuff.
Try: Praxis, A Sense of an Ending
A Tower of Silence
Promising young Australian neo-proggers' sophomore. Debut is good too.
Try: The Passing Bell, A Tower of Silence
The Tall Ships
80s neo-prog reformed, solid album, similar to Spock's Beard. Don't miss the 14
minute This Is England.
Try: Memory of Water, This Is England
Electric Sorcery II
Massive funky jam-fest. FREE
Try: Three Eyes, Deeper, Little Warrior
Big collaboration project, channels OSI and Porcupine Tree effectively. FREE
Try: The Absolute Truth, The Visitor pt. 1
All Rights Removed
Heavily Pink Floyd influenced but doesn't stop this from being brilliant.
Try: All Rights Removed, Homesick
Their new one is great too but check this for sure, brilliant dreamy atmosphere.
Try: The Moment She Knew, Overloaded, Sol29
|1|| ||Mother's Cake|
Mars Volta meets Red Hot Chilis - fecking awesome album, especially the bass.
Try: Nobody, Soul Prison I & II

Nice list. 2 is great. Heard some of 6, not really a fan though. Will check out some of the others, although 1 sounds awful tbh.
Nice list. Will check out 15 for sure.
I only know 'It Bites', and it's an ok band.
I know the guitarist of 7
@Jamie it's MUCH better than you'd think. I was skeptical at first but it's a very impressive album, especially for a debut.

nice list, still need to check out 15. Have you listened to Morgan, Zarathustra, Museo Rosenbach, or Gypsy? All are great obscure prog bands although Museo's debut is considered to be one of the greatest prog albums of all time.
Thanks man, I'll give them listen but I can't always dig that kinda stuff :/
@Calc glad you dig man, that band seriously needs more exposure on this site. I think I'mma whip up a review at some point
