03.01.13 | Link is above. So far I'm going for a very layered, heavily sidechained, ambient style. |
SupercolliderMusic
03.01.13 | I love it. "Marrella" was my favorite. |
UnnamedOcean
03.01.13 | Thanks, that one is definitely the weirdest song I have done. Most of my other stuff is more like the first two tracks. |
CaptainDooRight
03.01.13 | sweet bro, I'll have to def give this a listen. I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll try to give it a listen asap. |

03.01.13 | Sup cap'n. Tell me what you think (: |

03.01.13 | sounds good dude! the recordings seem a bit nasally in the upper register, do you hi-cut eq at all? |
StallionMang
03.01.13 | That was fantastic! I swear I could feel the album art moving along with the music. Excellent, and a step in the right direction for sure! |
UnnamedOcean
03.01.13 | Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm not too knowledgeable about mixing, so I probably messed something up with the
EQ. Which song did you notice that on?
Luckily a good friend of mine is majoring in production, so I'm gonna get him to master for me. |
MikeC26
03.01.13 | Yeah, I've been working on mixing a lot of my own stuff, it's an art form in itself!
The last song, Marella sounds pretty harsh in the high end to my ears. I'm sure a simple hi-cut eq on the instruments
that are copious in that range would do the trick! Other than that I dig the production a lot |
UnnamedOcean
03.01.13 | Okay I'll keep that in mind, I agree that song is a bit harsh. |
CaptainDooRight
03.01.13 | Really cool tracks here bro. Definitely WAY different than your past material. Like SupercolliderMusic I dug 'Marrella' the most but each track was tasty and had its own flavor. Everything about the music was solid and although there were common ambient qualities that were used your use of layering was delicious. Also, the subtle mood-crescendos are pleasurable.
I also agree with Mike. The high end[treble to be exact] would gel better if it was reduced a bit because at high volumes it can sometimes be ear piercing. However, to be more specific, you may not want to lower the entire tracks high end because this may depreciate certain track layers that don't need altering. Rather, only focus on the layers that are causing the high end distress and you should be perfectly good. |

03.02.13 | Thanks for the pointers! I'm working on my third and final demo now, so I'll fix up some of those
things and then start thinking about a debut EP.
It's funny you say it's so different than my past material, because technically all these songs are
older. |
UnnamedOcean
03.02.13 | To be more specific, they were all discarded Wolves in Aramid tunes. |

03.02.13 | Interesting, I didn't have that prior knowledge. |
