The only things you stated that actually bring the game down are the dungeons and enemy levelling (whether changing Lore is good/bad is subjective. Personally I don't mind it) Faces made of cheese was funny and the voice acting wasn't that bad, it was just the conversations.

TheNexus100 02.26.13	we're not thick, we hear what you are saying. the bottom line is compared to the previous 3 elder scrolls titles, and really any decent early 2000s rpg, oblivion is shit. In fact it's just shit to begin with. The environment was bland and repetitive. The writing was mostly terrible. The main story sucked. The leveling system/scaling was absolutely hysterical and has no place in any rpg let alone an Elder Scrolls game. The dungeons were all the same, the designs were boring. The mission structures were highly unoriginal. Quest markers ruined the series. The Oblivion gate, while an incredible concept, ended up being a huge letdown. No varying experiences in any of them and each one was just so underwhelming. Horrible opening. Any questions?

With the overhaul hd mods its unbeatable, without its definitely outdated as fuck but its still fucking brilliant. So many things wrong with that game and yet its still a masterpiece

One arc given in the beginning (the lore of dark souls is incredible but the story is like non existent and barely mentioned) and it's much more centered around trial and error, exploration, secrets, amazing multiplayer/pvp and level design. Don't expect any story though.

TheNexus100 02.26.13	lol most people will tell you its the hardest game ever. heres what i'll say. If you dont start with Demons Souls, it will be very, very challenging. If you think youre never going to rage quit and youll only die a couple times youre wrong. If you get a torrented version the experience won't be as epic because you won't have the multiplayer/pvp options which are incredibly inventive and a must see for anyone playing the game. Also, if you literally don't look anything up, you will miss 75 percent of the optional content on your first playthrough. It is incredibly cryptic and almost stoic. No directions or major order to do things in besides a few bosses. Game is completely open from the beginning and nothing scales with you. You could start and go to the right place or you could start and go to the catacombs and get mutilated

Also Lakes if you torrent a version good luck doing Anor Londo or Tomb of the Giants without summoning anyone bahahaha

There's a lot more than what you will see in the first 40 hours or so, if you even make it that long. Looking shit up won't ruin the experience completely, but looking nothing up is almost certain death. you wont have a weapon that does shit you won't know where your going that challenge might be perfect for you lakes but believe me it gets frustrating

apert 02.26.13	yeah i found NG+ alot easier as well, alot of the difficulty of the game is not knowing what the fuck to do, or where to go, or what tactics to use etc. once you beat the game once its all about just honing technique and then you can get through the whole game with only a handful of deaths
TheNexus100 02.26.13	absolutely agreed. found most of the bosses on NG plus a lot easier for me too, I mean sure I knew what I was going into but I didn't struggle a lot. The dlc bosses were hard though. Knight Artorias on NG plus was dreadful without any other players.

TheNexus100 02.26.13	4 kings were so easy i got obliterated the first time but noticed the spawn timing of the kings and how little damage they did. ran in and just hit them as quick as possible and won in about 2 minutes. artorias, ornstein/smough and lord gwyn (yes i struggled a lot with him ahaha) were the hardest for me. Bed of Chaos was unfair

I like Oblivion because I'm not comparing it to any other TED game, believe it or not I don't have Skyrim so I can't formulate a concrete argument of this vs this + contrast between both/games. Only thing I can really say is that I enjoyed playing the game and besides a few complains in cliched dungeons I like the game.
