I mean I used to bawitaba with Kid Rock and think I was larger than life with the b-street boyz but I cant say I ever think about listening to them again unless Im wasted and wanna get the bros pumped and the chicks oozing.

Alesana's album is pretty cool I like it, Attack Attack is alright.

I mean, sure they aren't anything mind-blowing but ya know, as far as modern post-hardcore goes it can be said they're contextually good. This is a great antidote when you're just sick and want to take a break from atonality, polyrhythms, blast-beats, abstract ambient voyages /so on...

(get what I mean?) Therefore, me showing no interest in what the majority qualifies and subsequently categorizes (on lists) as good isn't exactly elitism, (in such case) just a peculiarity. But well, I used to be a very different user some months ago so you won't believe me.

Id still rather listen to thousands of other bands now though. I mean theres a difference between enjoying a song legitamately and enjoying them just to have some fun to me. I'll sing along to the top 40 like anyone else but Im not gonna say the songs are good. Gian we cool meng Im just a prosecutor at heart.

It wasn't even unlistenable, just boring. I don't know why people on Sputnik cling to this sense of objectivity. Instrument technicality and (to a certain degree) lyricism are objective, but things like melody, structure, and listenability aren't.
