|New Year Resolutions, Anybody?|
I've come up with a few, though some are more important than others. No necessary order. Also, which one of these should I purchase? Been digging them a lot lately
My Arms, Your Hearse
Running - I love exercising and do it almost regularly, but running has become a thing of the past as the school year started.
Reading - I have a particularly hard time getting engaged in a book, partly because of my dyslexia but mostly because I am never motivated enough to pick one up.
Sailing the Seas of Cheese
Community Service - I have taken part in several community service projects my freshman year, but for some reason I haven't done any this year. I would love to start doing more, possibly at least once a month
Practice Instruments Regularly - Another task I have a hard time finding motivation for. I would like to find a chunk of time (say, about an hour) each day and use that for practicing music.
II - MMX
Study Habits - I didn't necessarily have the most challenging semester, but I feel like I have barely studied at all and, as a result, I basically feel stupid. Need to get on this.
Just a dig

|The rooms in my dorm this year have bulliten boards attached to back of the desk, so I plan on putting up some charts for things like running, reading, and guitar so that I am reminded to do them, and when I do I can check it off or some shit like that. |Lots of good ones here. I think I would add get a job to number 6, though that isn't at the top of my to-do list at the moment. |
|New year's resolutions are a waste of time because MOST people dont follow through anyway. One year my
new year's resolution was to quit smoking, but I started smoking again by Jan 5th. The following year
I decided to try again, but I decided to make my resolution begin on April 1st. On April 1st of that
year (which is ironically April Fool's Day), I stopped smoking...I havent smoked since.|
|I hope I finish the university and find a cool job. Also, I hope my band becomes more known and find a record label. Really good list, lots of digs.|
