12.11.12 | The music scene's been getting progressively better over the last few years. Too many faceless death metal and metalcore bands (cos everyone wants to be br00tal) but lots of decent bands. Only problem is there's no scope for a career in music here. Audiences for local bands are generally tiny and non-committal and record contracts are unheard of. Guys start bands when they're in college and then quit after a while once the real world comes calling. It's pretty sad. |
