witchxrapist 12.04.12	Also, Autopsy rules, but there aren't many Autopsy clones out there, whereas Entombed clones are a dime a dozen, and Entombed riffs are leaking into hardcore and crust, every brutal death metal band wants to be Suffocation, and every retro death metal band wants to be Incantation, and believe it or not, Cannibal Corpse is still the biggest name to ever happen in death metal, whether they're the best or not, and their influence is undeniable and especially prevelent in older deathcore bands.

Hyperion1001 12.04.12	"Also, Autopsy rules, but there aren't many Autopsy clones out there, whereas Entombed clones are a dime a dozen" come on mappy, i expected better from you. just because there arent as many clones has almost nothing to do with actual influence. the entire swedish scene was ignited almost single singlehandedly by morbid angel and autopsy. sure incantation has a giant influence on the new waves of death metal, and onwards to golgotha is one of the best things to come out of the first wave, but as far as influence on the beginning of death metal they really didn't do all that much compared to bands like autopsy and morbid angel.
