12.02.12 | Is not the same listen an album from start to finish instead from a random list. Try to change the order of this. Concept albums are out,
|
bach
12.02.12 | Not with Ska-punk. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. |

12.02.12 | Its like a movie. Would you skip around scenes in a movie, or watch it start to finish? |
bungy
12.02.12 | i sometimes skip my favorite or the most emotional track of an album and then listen to it last usually though i appreciate it the way the artist arranged it though comparing it to a movie is kind of dumb |
Detritivore
12.02.12 | Many kids listen randoms song in their Ipods. My nephew has done this with most of these albums, I think it loses part of the magic. |
bungy
12.02.12 | it does. I shuffle songs often though if I don't have an hour |
demigod!
12.02.12 | I'm sorry but that is the worst way to listen to an album imo |
HitlerIsPissed
12.02.12 | "Would you skip around scenes in a movie, or watch it start to finish?"
terrible comparison. |
apert
12.02.12 | it would definitely fuck up those albums which are meant to flow together as 1 piece of music |
Uranium
12.02.12 | so axe to fall is a concept album..... eh |
Trebor.
12.02.12 | duh
People that don't listen to whole albums are mainstream plebs |

WashboardSuds
12.02.12 | I do this with some albums (albums I've listened to a billion tines and know the flow inside and out) it does sort of spice things up. it also really depends on the music |
Trebor.
12.02.12 | Sometimes I'll download an album and it will be out of order and I won't even know for a while |
WashboardSuds
12.02.12 | one time I downloaded an album and every single track was Never Gonna Give You Up |
Detritivore
12.02.12 | @Trebor17

AdamK
12.02.12 | once you have heard an album all the way through enough times you can skip around and still understand the context of the song within the whole album |
sideburndude
12.02.12 | Eat the young |
DrMaximus
12.02.12 | Agreed, AdamK |
tommygun
12.02.12 | I always listen in order
when I download albums I always check the tracklist on the internet to make sure everything is correct, kinda OCD about having my music library perfectly organised |
Chortles
12.02.12 | i'm the same way tommy no worries |
Havey
12.02.12 | yeah i think we all know this no need to make a list |
JohnnyoftheWell
12.02.12 | Some albums can be tweaked slightly, but the order is very important
There are sometimes select clusters of songs in an album that work insanely well together (ie first 3 tracks on The Gallery, last 3 on Illusion of Safety, first 4 on Century Child) |
Detritivore
12.02.12 | Years ago I downloaded "song for a deaf", but the version leaked had a random order of the songs....I was looking weeks for the original version |
