| Best Live Shows That Youve Been To? | 1 | | Dream Theater Images and Words
Score, with the entire orchestra- craziest experience of my life, got to meet DT and drink with
them after the show, it was ridiculous especially because back in High School they were my all
time favorite band | 2 | | Tool Lateralus
I saw them twice on the same tour and I wish they changed up their set more, but the visuals
and the performances were flawless | 3 | | Dave Matthews Band Crash
Probably the acid...no just kidding, even aside from that it was amazing to see him and Tim live
and rape every studio song ever | 4 | | Pearl Jam Ten
This is by far the best crowd I've been apart of- every single person there was so into every
song, also PJ is just an unbelievable live act | 5 | | Cannibal Corpse Tomb of the Mutilated
Just saw them this past Sunday for my first time ever- craziest pit ever, every song is a thousand
times heavier live | 6 | | Kreator Extreme Aggression
Saw then with Vader before I knew who Vader were back in high school..first mosh pit ever,
have to give this a shout out | 7 | | Meshuggah Koloss
This would be #1 but I haven't actually seen them live yet, I'm just including them because I
assume this is going to be the most incredible show I will ever see once I see them on this
upcoming tour-favorite band oh wow, too excited | 8 | | Symphony x The Odyssey
They played the entire Odyssey. Nuff said. | 9 | | Morbid Angel Altars of Madness
They played their first three albums straight through, saw them with Behemoth. Yeah, it was
insane. | 10 | | Cynic Focus
This would actually be higher if I remembered this show earlier-ALL OF FOCUS holy shit, yeah,
and meeting them was great too | 11 | | Opeth Still Life
Saw them for Ghost Reveries tour, Mikael is a silly man and an incredible artist | 12 | | Slipknot Slipknot
Yeah, I know I'll get crucified for this one...but so be it. It was a great show. | 13 | | Slayer Seasons in the Abyss
Big 4 at Yankee Stadium | 14 | | Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral
Okay now this list is really out of order, this show would be in my top 5 | 15 | | Rage Against the Machine Evil Empire
They're actually not one of my favorite bands, but man they killed it live, seeing them live made
me appreciate them so much more | |

11.30.12 | seen dt twice. once when i was faux prog, i even thought they sucked then, james was fucking gay as shit and they wanked too much and the setlist was bad even though they only have like a handful of good songs

11.30.12 | three-way tie for me right now
-Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Feb 16, Vogue Theatre, Vancouver. First North America show in over 8 years, favourite band ever, never thought I'd get to see them in a million years, right at David Bryant's feet, amazing visuals, BBF3, fucking GODSPEED
-Refused, Day 3 of Roskilde 2012 (July....5?), Denmark
The band sounded amazing, nailed everything. the songs sounded so damn fresh, so damn important, so damn relevant. Denis's banter with the crowd was fucking inspiring - made me want to molitov cocktail some shit (and everyone who saw them on the reunion tour agrees). New Noise was my most anticipated moment, and it was fucking lights out, but Tannhauser/Derive live is probably the greatest thing I have ever been a part of. "Boredom won't get me tonight" is now one of my favourite lyrics, and it's all because of that show.
-Flying Lotus, like a month ago, Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver
We got some mdma for this show. I'd taken it before but it had never really kicked my ass. That night though. oh. my. god. I never wanted it to end. the visuals, the textures, the vibes, the fucking BASS. he played an absolute unreal mix, lots from his new album, lots from Brainfeeder guys, some TNGHT shit, a Radiohead remix, a fucking Kendrick Lamar sample! he was playing behind one screen, and then in front of another, and the visuals were absolutely mind blowing. in many, many way, this was the best night of my life.
i can't rank the shows because they're all so different in every way. circumstance, venue, the people i was with, the genre of music, etc.
anyway, yeah, three fucking awesome shows. | Chortles
11.30.12 | pretty jealous of 4 | atrink
11.30.12 | The As Cities Burn reunion show in dallas was pretty damn amazing | ApexPredator
11.30.12 | Btbam was amazing when I saw them, Dave Matthews band concert was so much fun soooooooooo much weed | engleprunt
11.30.12 | Have seen most of these bands live before and Meshuggah is the best. Rage is a close second (even though I like their music overall more). Must see Tool someday... | JohnnyoftheWell
11.30.12 | Sweet list
Best I've seen is probs the Blackout; really average studio band but they ruled face live | Polyethylene
11.30.12 | Radiohead
Faith No More x2
Iggy and The Stooges
The White Stripes | ButteryBiscuitBass
11.30.12 | Primus - Royal Albert Hall | NightProwler
11.30.12 | The Strokes (Roskilde Festival 2011 - was 1½ meter (4-5 foot) from the front on Orange Scene, unbelieveable energy and band).
AC/DC (Horsens CASA Arena 2010 - not only the band, but also the entire day was amazing, the town (Horsens) had put on an enormous show in the streets as warm-up with bands, beer and everything).
Black Sabbath (Download Festival 2012 - Iommi is a god, enough said!)
Bruce Springsteen (Roskilde 2012 - my 2nd show with the Boss was even better than the first. What a legend!!)
Lamb of God (Copenhell 2012 - I'd already seen them at Download a week before which was good, but nothing like what I saw the following! The crowd and the band interacted like something I've rarely seen, and Randy said we made the biggest Moshpit and wall-of-death he'd seen on the entire tour).
Runner-ups: Roger Waters 2011, Kanye West & Jay-Z 2012 and Radiohead 2012 | NightProwler
11.30.12 | Would love to see Tool! | Polyethylene
