11.24.12 | well, no one else REALLY sounds like meshuggah to me, because usually what people ("djent" groups) try to copy are the downtuned, rigid/angular/chugging or whatever riffs, and not much beyond that. plus, meshuggah basically did that, among many things, before anyone else did, anyone who was remotely well known at least.
....and yeah it chugs so what. and ultimately I don't find them that much more repetitive than most bands, maybe a little moreso, but that's part of what's cool about them to me, they're so insane crazy and can still put you in a trance at the same time....
