| ...They Just Never Get Old...
I really have never tired of these albums, ever. | 1 | | The National Alligator
The last 3 songs on this album may compose the best trio of songs to end an album
ever. | 2 | | The National High Violet
You could say the same damn thing about this album. I really know this and
"Alligator" too well, it's not healthy. | 3 | | Tom Waits Rain Dogs
When I start this album, I finish it. Every time. I can't help it, I have to. | 4 | | Deerhunter Microcastle
I go on like 1 week streaks where I don't listen to this. Then when I do listen to it again, I ask
myself, "WHY'D YOU STOP MAN?". "Twilight at Carbon Lake". MMMMMMMM | 5 | | Deftones White Pony
It's hard to find an album that blends so many different genres together seamlessly
to create such a unique sound. Probably why it always stays in my rotation. | 6 | | Brand New The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me
I'm not even going to explain. We all know its greatness, right? | 7 | | Thrice Beggars
It's hard for me to believe people don't like this album all that much, it's so unique
sounding for Thrice or for any Alt. Rock band for that matter. I'm a sucker for sad,
melancholy, atmospheric, reverb-drenched, music though. | 8 | | Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works 85-92
I can listen "Shchottkey 7th Path" or "Xtal" at any time and be okay with it. Beautiful. | 9 | | Radiohead Amnesiac
It's funny how mediocre I thought this was when I heard this long ago. Now I
honestly believe it's one of my top 3 Radiohead albums. The atmosphere and
variety on this album are perfect. Definitely not just "B-Sides of Kid A" thrown
together. | 10 | | My Bloody Valentine Loveless
I need more Shoegaze/Dream Pop. Although, it will be extremely difficult to find one
that's so easily playable and a go-to album for me like this one. | |

^^^This.
More shoegaze/Dream Pop? Yeah, not too many that play like that one does. I might suggest Cocteau Twins - 'Heaven or Las Vegas', Slowdive - 'Souvlaki' and/or Ride's 'Nowhere'. Those are the basics of the genre, and probably the easiest to get into. |
