Music That Kickstarted Your Love

We've all got albums that helped jumpstart out mad dash into musical oblivion, this small list is what took me from a radio-only-on-the-weekends kid to where I am now, be that good or bad.
1Muse
Black Holes and Revelations

Literally the first CD I ever bought myself (excluding all the ones your parents will
buy you when you were younger). I hadn't heard of Radiohead, I didn't know this
band, I just was reading a journal/blog and this band was mentioned. Wal-Mart had
this one in stock so I bought it, and damn was I impressed (though Bellamy's vocals
took awhile to get used to). Political brit-rock was my first step into my own
musical taste, weird huh?
2Coheed and Cambria
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3

My second CD purchase was on a whim, and boy was I initially disappointed.
Coming from a strict-ish Christian background this seemed dark and foreboding, let
alone how strange Claudio's vocals were at the time. I tried to listen to this all the
way through and failed, so it sat on my shelf while I bemoaned my loss of money in
this "bad" purchase. I don't recall when I picked it back up, but eventually this
album just hit me like the brilliant work it is; I was in love and there was no going
back.
