My Favorite Albums

My favorite albums of all time, right here.
1Isis
Oceanic

Isis is so incredibly dense, layered, and structured that their music is impossible not to enjoy. Many people don't think this is their best, but it's perfect in my opinion.
2DragonForce
Inhuman Rampage

Love this band's speed, vocals, guitars, and synth. Not really a big power metal fan, but this band is perhaps my favorite band...ever.
3Katatonia
The Great Cold Distance

The production is perfectly subdued, the album is the ultimate doom metal album. Swedish really make the best metal.
4Porcupine Tree
The Sky Moves Sideways

Old fashioned Porcupine Tree is my favorite, highly progressive, electronic, and like nothing else...maybe Pink Floyd. Long epics, Moonloop and Stars Die...definitely Wilson's best work.
5Nine Inch Nails
The Fragile

Incredibly deep, dark, dense, and perfectly angry. Tracks flow perfectly one to another, incredible instrumentals, and it never drags, despite being two discs.
6Isis
Panopticon

Isis makes an epic, grandiose, fantastic layered and lush classic that proves how good this band really is.
7Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Adult progressive metal? Apparently. But still, it's really, really good hard-edged atmospheric metal that really makes you think.
8Opeth
Blackwater Park

Blackwater Park is an epic progressive masterpiece that at times slow, loud, heavy mixed with vocals, pig grunting, oh...yes.
9Iron Maiden
Powerslave

Fast, a strange Egyptian theme, and very fast. Powerslave is my favorite Maiden album and is darn near perfect.
10Smashing Pumpkins
Siamese Dream

I'm a sucker for noise rock, and with songs like Hummer, Rocket, and Soma, this album called my name.
