ZilbelPing 07.19.12	Holy shit dude get Silent Hill 2 asap. Probably my favorite survival horror game ever. Old Resident Evil games Fatal Frame Silent Hill up to 4 System Shock 2 The first Dead Space if you liked the 2nd one. More emphasis on the scary factor and less on the action one.

ZilbelPing 07.19.12	Doom 3 [2] Got repetitive but the fact that they forced you to constantly switch between flashlight and gun made it really scary at parts. The pitch black segments were fucking hell

Devastator 07.19.12	I thought call of cthulhu was more weird and trippy than scary. Fallout 3 had a couple of creepy parts, there was this one building that had a bunch of ghouls worshiping this obelisk thing that was kinda scary.

You can choose to have your guy lose a lot of his sanity and he hallucinates dead girls, sees creatures on the rooftops... I guess it's more a feeling of being disturbed and uneasy, rather than jumping out of your chair, but has great creepy atmosphere

You should check out Nightmare House, I think it's available on Steam, but it's kind of like zombies and other mutants in this mental asylum place.

The team lost the rights to the property, so a bunch of them are making an MMO, an offshoot of them is teaming up with the guys who did Men of War and making an 3rd person isometric action RPG in post-apocalyptic Russia, and then even more team members went off and joined the "Metro..." game makers.

Silent hill series, resident evil series (early ones, best being 2), fatal frame, condemned, system shock 2. Still waiting on that zombie sandbox to waste my life on. might as well quit my job when project zomboid comes out.
