Top 10 Favorite Albums (all-time)

Obviously subject to change.. this is my list of favorite albums over my 21 yr life span.
10Nirvana
MTV Unplugged In New York

Kurt Cobain is so passionate on this. You can almost feel his pain and it's such a smooth and natural sounding performance.
9Opeth
Blackwater Park

The production of Steven Wilson really sticks out for me on this album. Sets the mood for an eerie and evil sounding album. Epic.
8Edge of Sanity
Crimson II

I'm a big fan of a well polished album and though many feel Crimson I is superior I'm a much bigger fan of the follow-up. A great concept album and the structure is so unique.
7Mark Lanegan
I'll Take Care Of You

So much pain and misery. Leave it to Mark Lanegan to make it all so beautiful.
6Led Zeppelin
Physical Graffiti

It's so subliminally dark and just awesome. Jimmy Page is phenominal on this, hell, the whole band is.
5Death
Symbolic

Gene Hoglan is beast on this album and the song writing of Chuck Shuldiner is great. Monster album.
4The La's
The La's

Brit pop sounds so unappealing for a band that strikes instant attention from first listen. Beautiful album.
3Buckethead
Population Override

Soulful, heavy, ambient all at once and with such power.
2Nas
Illmatic

Makes you feel on top of the world.. Nas paints a picture with words as good as any artist of any genre.
1Massive Attack
Mezzanine

A moody album with a dark over-all feel that when in the right mood can take you to a different world.
