06.12.12 | I loved Slipknot and Skillet back in middle school. Odd that I liked both bands at the same time (like Satan and God), but nonetheless, they blew my 12-13 year old mind away. Of course, I know better now. They're shit bands. |

dathvada321
06.12.12 | Graduation age varies from 15-19. How am I supposed to guess that?
never met a 15 year old graduate lol. id say 17-19 though, which i still hard to guess. i thought it was a valid question |
CaptainDooRight
06.12.12 | who the f graduates at age 15 |
BLUEOmni
06.12.12 | I hope you guys realize that the United States isn't the only country in the world. Graduation differs from country to country. In Europe, average age for graduation is 15-16. |
dathvada321

06.12.12 | Anyways, I was just curious on account of which generation of Skillet you were a part of. I'm only 2 years older, but being that Collide is 2 years older than Comatose, it makes sense. |

BLUEOmni
06.12.12 | Heh, well, that's Skillet for you. Looking at your list again, I have to say I'm still a fan of Red. I don't listen to them often, but they're pretty good for post-grunge. |
dathvada321

id say theyre more of an alt metal band. they are pretty good though. innocence and instinct is actually better than end of silence in my opinion. |
CaptainDooRight
06.12.12 | dude why do you keep quoting everything, i think everyone knows who you're talking too |
dathvada321
06.12.12 | lol its a habbit |
BLUEOmni
06.12.12 | Yeah, Red's pretty alternative. I'd still classify them as post-grunge, but they're definitely more unique in their sound and exposition than other post-grunge bands. Doesn't mean they're a unique band overall, but compared to their counterparts, yeah. I like both albums equally, though. |
CaptainDooRight
06.12.12 | no worries bro, you seem like a cool dude so i wish you the best with your life's endeavors |

06.12.12 | I checked out your list, dath, so gonna recommend you some post-hardcore artists (not familiar enough with Metalcore and don't listen to Metal).
- The Receiving End of Sirens (especially if you like Emery)
Thing with Treos is they sound astronomically different between albums. I imagine you'd like their debut the most.
- Sights & Sounds (my favourite post-hardcore band)
- As Tall as Lions
- Fear Before
- La Dispute
- Thursday
- Tides of Man
- Comeback Kid
- Of Machines
- Skindred
- Trophy Scars
- Adair |
