It's a dark and rainy day. Your aunt or cousin or something has died. You are at a funeral. The car pulls up to the church and everyone gets out. People have black clothes. Old women cry and moan. "Oh, the humanity!" exclaims a grieving rando in the crowd. You check in the mirror to see if your suit looks good. This is going to be a lame fucking funeral, you think to yourself. The procession is about to begin. The reverend starts playing music on his organ, but the sounds that come out are not of this world. It's not normal religious crap. Someone has switched the tapes, and it is instead Thergothon's Fhtagn-nagh Yog-Sothoth EP gracing the grieving ears. No one seems to care, as it fits the vibe and everyone can now feel as they need to. You thought you had it together, but you start to cry. Being exposed to true emotion moves you, and you can now grieve for your cousin or whichever relative. You begin to relax, and you're farting and crying. You feel pure after releasing so much, so much that was bottled within.

I hope I have done a good job explaining the vibe, but one would be better suited listening instead. We've got slow riffs that could move mountains. The vocals are full of emotion, whether they are the clean Scandinavian chant/moans, or the belches of darkness. The lyrics touch me. A lot of new doom bands are just stoners looking to party, but Thergothon have a lot to get off their chests.

review may be short, but you just have to read it very slowly in the tempo of Thergothon's music.
