Release Date: 1999 | Tracklist

The Bouncing Souls Have a track record. Every single Cd they've released has been better than average, and this is no exception. With Hopeless Romantic, they didn't hit quite as good as the other albums, but it's still worth buying.

Greg: Vocals
Bryan: Bass
The Pete: Guitars
Shal: Drums

Tracklisting:

1. Hopeless Romantic

2. '87

3. Kid

4. Fight To Live

5. Bullying The Jukebox

6. You're So Rad

7. Night On Earth

8. Monday Morning Ant Brigade

9. Ole!

10. Undeniable

11. Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell)

12. It's Not The Heat, It's The Humanity

13. The Whole Thing

Hopeless Romantic: 2:12
This track is a great opener, It starts out with a little bit of static, but leads into Guitar and the Rest of the Song. It's one of the best songs on the album with it's funny lyrics, and nice if not a bit repetitive music.
9/10

'87: 3:27
This Song Starts a bit slower with a cool drum and bass intro, but speeds up a little later in the song. Based again on lyrics mainly, the music is again a little repetitive. The Song is A little boring to me, and doesn't stand out from the rest of the cd.
6/10

Kid: 2:50
My favorite song on the cd. Cool Catchy Lyrics, Easy to Sing Along to, and it delivers a good message.
10/10

Fight To Live: 2:57
One of the problems with this album is many of the songs sound alike. This is one of them, It reminds me of '87, It's boring, and skippable. It Does however have fun Drumming and Parts to Shout along with.
6/10

Bullying The Jukebox: 3:48
This song starts out with a fun drum intro, and goes into a fast Guitar and Bass. It's Got Funny Lyrics, and it's fun to sing along to. Not only that, but The Guitar is a little more interesting than the other songs.
8/10

You're So Rad: 1:19
This song is... strange. It's the shortest on the album, and unlike all the other songs, The lyrics, well they suck. The music are very cool, but The repetitve lyrics do it in. Was it meant as a joke? I hope so. It would have gotten a lower rating, but the guitar and bass is so much better than the other songs.
5/10

Night On Earth: 4:54
This song reminds me of some of the others on the album, and is a lot longer and slower than most of the other songs. It doesn't work very well, and it isn't memorable, just skippable.
4/10

Monday Morning Ant Brigade: 2.23
This is one of the better songs on the album. Funny Lyrics, Good music, and a great chorus. It's got some strange noises, but they work in the song. This is a song I greatly reccommend to any Souls Fan.
9/10

Ole!: 3:04
A soccer chant. You'll either love it or hate it. Myself, I love it, It's very fun to sing along to, and everyone knows the words. It's got a great guitar part halfway through, along with fast lyrics. It's a fun Song, and even more fun when you're singing along. Only Downside is it could get stuck in you're head.
9/10

Undeniable: 2:36
The lyrics are a bit cheesy, but I like the song anyway. It's a slower song again, but it works a lot better this time.
8/10

Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell): 2:56
This is a duet with a girl named Kara Wethington. It's a fun song, but it's bothered by the fact that Kara isn't the best singer. She sounds like a snotty Teenage Girl. Other than that the song is good, it's about a couple who hate each other. It has some hilarious lyrics.
8/10

It's Not The Heat, It's The Humanity : 2:13
A solid song, but not much going on. It's one of those songs that you don't love, but you wouldn't change the station if it came on the radio. Average souls song.
7/10

The Whole Thing : 5:12
The longest song on the album(not really see below.), but it's not particularily enjoyable. It's got a catchy guitar riff, but the rest of the song is pretty mediocre. Plus, the song actually ends at about four minutes, theres just a minute or so of blank space.
6/10

haha, wow this review sucks some major butt.

And don't be thrown off by the pop-punk genre. It probably sounds nothing like what you're imagining.

They sound like... like... well, they're pretty unique actually. But I'd still recommend Their newer, Anchors Aweigh more than this one.

Yeah, Night On Earth is great. Probably my favorite song on the cd. Definately my favorite to play guitar to. It's actually a nice change from most of the album. Oh yeah, I'm sure You're so Rad is a joke song but it still deserves a 1 or 0.This Message Edited On 05.23.06

Eh, even I think this review is terrible. I disagree with most of my previous statements, and looking back on it, I wish I would have put a little more thought into it.

However, I still find Night On Earth Boring and Skippable.
