0.0 | OceanOfWisdom | November 20th 09 | A truely fucking amazing Black Metal album.....And even more impressive is it's now almost 11 years old....
Massively raw, evil as hell itself, great vocal work, great guitar work, tight drumming, nice useage of sound clips and effects, and for once the Lo-Fi quality recording actually accentuates the albums raw intensity and vileness. Making for an engaging listen.
EASILY Dodheimsgard's Best album...and it's their shortest to boot....Shame.

4.0 excellent | Chino smoking it up! | January 2nd 20 | Crazy little EP! Their journey towards their true own identity started to be drawn here. Although the sound is still very lo-fi (3rd track f.e.), you can tell how they try to variate on instrumentation and features on each of their tracks, instead of the DT 0.5. Really nasty tasty BM.

3.5 great | Bedex | October 20th 19 | I should re-listen to this because I didn't pay enough attention. Short and sweet raw-ish black metal with a nice piano intro and outro. The riffs are good, I enjoy the bad prod, and the vocals are great too. The record boasts quite a few random sound bits and samples (pianos, strings, little girls screaming), which sometimes are great but sometimes don't quite fit and break the atmosphere for me. Still makes me want to check out some of their other records. 3.6

4.7 superb | Gary STAFF | December 9th 18 | Perfection. Truly evil, mysterious, grinding, unorthodox. Indeed, this is a piece of art, a really one of a kind release. Black metal which imitates the "mechanical" feel of industrial without truly relying on its elements. Listening to "Traces of Reality" and "Symptom" feels like zooming out of reality and gazing into a chaotically organized abyss.

3.0 good | zaruyache | August 27th 17 | Slightly symphonic a la Dimmu Borgir, slightly avant-garde, and very much Mayhem-reminiscent. Fairly raw late 90's black metal: File under "ist krieg".

4.0 excellent | mkamrass | July 3rd 14 | This is an amazing EP that is good itself, but it would also lead into Dodheimsgard's masterpiece LP. The last song on this album is even the same piano tune that begins 666 International, so it is a perfect intro.
