Recording with a Comp Mic

As it stands i have to record with a computer mic and the sound recorder program in windows. The sound isnt very good however and my recordings cant stretch very long. Can anyone suggest a cheap upgrade to my recording system, maybe a program or something?

Record in Music Match Jukebox (if you dont have it download it off their website http://musicmatch.com/ )

Step 1 - Open Music Match

STep 2 - Go to OPTIONS, then to RECORDER, then to SOURCE, then select Mic In or Line In (whichever one you use while recording)

Step 3 - Now go to VIEW, then select RECORDER...it will open a window where you can record your songs for however long you want to.

Step 4 - (OPTIONAL) This step is optinal...If you need to EDIT your songs go to
DOWNLOAD.COM and download a program AUDICITY, where you can edit your songs and save them as WAV or MP3 files.

I hope that helps you

ok look, i record the same way, if you use sound recorder, click record, and let all 60 seconds run then when its at the end, the record button can be pressed again for another 60 seconds of recording, repeat this until its as long as you need it, then click stop and go back to the beginning and record from there
