well that's pretty convenient now that he's 'agreeing' with you

im not sure how a water molecule can 'cut' something made up of smaller atoms so that the deviation is consistently less than the size of those atoms

why don't you explain

nah, you either get it or you don't. go look it up on google like you usually do and come back with an interpretation that justifies your failure

i mean its like throwing a football at a wall of tennis balls right

how do you get the edges to deviate by, at most, the diameter of a tennis ball

given that your arm throwing is probably orders of magnitude more accurate than the water jet spitting out water molecules

fuck you niall. obviously it wouldn't cut clean enough an edge to stick you and lisa back together

i've tried chad, you just don't have the skills man. after two pages of trying then you should go figure it out

you're just too much of a shithead to explain what you're talking about and you make it seem like it's someone else's prob

ftr a water jet can't do what you're saying it can

he hasn't even explained it in a non technical sense

e.g. what does hold together mean

that the parts sit on top of each other without sliding off or what

i thought he was talkin bout two smooth surfaces sticking together. can surface tension do that?

like, two planes of glass stick to one another a bit. possibly coz there's moisture between them. i dunno.

i have no clue what he's talking about, that's part of the problem

but surface tension is a resistive force, it supports things, but doesn't make them stick to the surface

i mean i am pretty sure he's clueless about the technical stuff but why in the fuck can't he just explain the orientation of the cut and the bits being stuck together god damn

the surface is so smooth after water cutting one either end piece made by the cut that they can actually be put back together

take a piece of 4x4 inch steel that is 4 feet long. cut it in two in the middle as it sits horizontally. use a q5 level waterjet cutter maybe with or without a fine abrasive. once the cutting is finished you end up with no heat affected surface on the cut, there is no tool contact so no surface deformation. no faults in the surface have been introduced by the waterjet. the pieces fit snuggly back together to the exten that you could let go of one piece and it would hold in place
