Operation: Mindcrime vs. Images & Words

Salutations:

Here we have a showdown for the ages. Two of the most revered works in prog-metal history. Which, in your eyes, was better?

On the red corner, we have Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime. Defying the conventions of 80's cheese, Queensyche released a record that has gained major critical acclaim over the years, and which is probably more highly regarded now than in the late 80's.

On the blue corner, we have Dream Theater's Images and Words. Generally considered a cornerstone of progressive metal, Images and Words is regarded by many as one of Dream Theater's best works.

So, which was better? It's your call, folks.

the review site people generally baffle me because they think, e.g., having a conception of the "top 30 albums" is in some sense a useful way to think about the music you like

who thinks like that

So far the poll looks fairly one-sided.
