not much
all who've been expected to win are producing such results

in other news Venus is officially done, she can barely last a set let alone a match.

federer has an almost impossible road to the semis let alone the round of 16 tsonga, murray and nadal on the top portion of the draw.

i'm a nadal fan but i love the federer nadal matchups and this is probably rogers last year, or at least last year worth talking about.

federer has a gamestyle that allows him to remain atp competitive at for more time than that if he wants to. Wich i doubt he wants, it is though to be in 50th ranking when you were always top.

"following the daft temperatures they're playing in"

Lived it last week! Crazy stuff. Not looking forward to my electricity bill from A/C overuse.

Wawrinka vs Djokovic was great tonight. The Swiss #2 is half a chance to win it all!

sounds absolutely unliveable, it's the main reason I'm thinking of practising medicine in NZ instead of Aus

Well, it was a record (4 consecutive days over 40C/110F), so it doesn't happen every year. Hell, a couple of summers ago, I only put my A/C on about 5 times in the space of 12 months!

Of course, being in the south-east of the country, Melbourne is one of Oz's cooler climates! It's a big country, so it depends what state/city you are looking at.

hey, f u.

roger is a goddamn champion. playing like a boss, and nadal's got stig mata. maybe he can make the finals -- can't see berdych or wawrinka beating him there.

The blister on Nadal's hand is clearly bothering him, so I think this is a 50-50 match.

Weather Update: It's drizzling. 1st time we've seen any kind of rain for about 3 weeks.
