something else to watch: give me recs

so i like game of thrones but i think thats because of the dragons and fantasy. the other american crap its littered with like real sex and gay sex and stuff is in all the other crap that yanks feel obliged to spill on us

i am looking to watch something new. like i have on demand or can download from anywhere

is haven any good?

is there anything else out there

and this must be serious stuff as in really top notch so there will have to be some for and against points so if some dope recs something you think is shit then tell us why

sincerely, mph

either or both

not hung up

i just need some decent escapism

like watching game of thrones in to weeks and 3 or 4 episodes at a time reminded how good programming can help you escape and get some much needed downtime that isn't a book.

Stick with Breaking Bad, it escalates in an awesome fashion

You tried the newest British version of Sherlock?

Green Wing is pretty much how UK hospitals are run

There's 4 seasons of Breaking Bad, plus the 1st half of the final season has also aired. The final half of that series airs in August.

Green Wing is a comedy set in a hospital, it's all on 4OD, and it's really good, albeit a tad surreal

Sherlock's definitely worth it, Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman have a great partnership

breaking bad starts off really slowly, but it just builds and builds and by the end of season 2 it's like

He might be my favourite character in anything ever

although I occasionally get flashbacks of him being malcolm in the middle's dad

watching breaking bad in its entirety and then going back to malcolm in the middle is such an awkward transition
especially the episode where he teaches malcolm how to skate
dear god, it's so awkward

stick with it, if you feel the same by the end of season 2 it's not for you, but it's likely to catch your attention by then

It took me six months to finish season one, and then one week to finish seasons 2 and 3. It gets better tenfold.
