Local Bands

What are some bands from your area that are getting you excited at the moment? Preferably, please list bands that have music recorded online so that we can all join in on the discussion instead of just live show anecdotes (though those are fine too!)

some buddies of mine. even though i'm biased by friendship, i still think they're one of the freshest sounding bands in hardcore as of this time

Their guitarist basically said he had no clue what "melodic hardcore" was when the original bassist approached him about the band, so he just thought of Sargeist style riffs and played them in a hardcore structured manner.

sorry no thanks for me. i don't care about shit getting crazy in death metal, i'd rather listen to the tried and true formula of super fucking fast blasts, mid-tempo evilness, and crushingly murderous slam grooves.
