Basic recording

Hey. So I have some drum mics, and I never had a mixer so now I want one so I can record stuff without it sounding like cardboard. Are there any cheap mixers that will get the job done? It doesn't have to sound perfect, just a few steps up from putting a mic behind a couch or something.

I would suggest getting some form of computer interface box. PreSonus, Motu, MAudio, etc

what he said. an interface with enough inputs - 4 as an absolute minimum, 8 or more would be better.
