Here's the best video angle...!

Well at least from the 2 people that responded. Enjoy some live playing footage. Sound is from the camera unfortunately.

Waiting on our 4/20 festival footage to get edited. HD video and feed from the board! In the meantime, enjoy some live drumming or make fun of it... what ever makes you smile!

Will update as more uploads finish to youtube:

Nope, full open. At least as best as I can figure tuning for the venue. Never know when it's really loud though. Those are G Plus's I believe.

Thanks! Just trying to do the thing.

That is a 'Gavin-Harrison-cymbal-chime-splash-disc-thing', a crash cut down to about 6-7" or so.

Here's a picture I was just sent from the show, of course I'm the blurry one...

Matt on Guitar. Chris on Bass. Blurry face on drums.

I was hoping it was all open, awesome thing with the cymbal, I tried that once and failed when cutting down

Thanks again. You'll never catch me using dampening on toms, at least for "rock" gigs anyway! Raaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwk!

For cutting down the cymbal I had to try a lot of different methods. What worked best was actually an angle grinder, with a metal cutting blade. Cut through em like butter, leaves a nasty edge but that was cleaned up with a deburring file easy.
The plasma cutter worked best, but the heat seemed to really weaken the cymbal - I broke 2 real quick like.
