Cubase Sx 3 drums question...

I use addictive drums. So, I duplicated a pattern and im trying to move the duplicate in another part of the song but the beats dont line up with the grid, i tried moving it around to get it on but cant seem to get it on the grid still. how can i get the hits to align?? i used the Snap button, the quantize button is on. I tried the different snap types it still wont align. If anyone can give me a youtube video or explain if you know more that would be awesome
