well i think they just do that cause they don't have a name for what they cooked and if they listed all the different components it would look unwieldy plus some of the components might have offputting names like 'onion fluid gel' or 'dehydrated mushroom' or something

so they just list the principle flavours in the dish and it builds anticipation cause people know they're in for a fancy meal but they have no idea what it's gonna be like, also it eliminates preconceptions to some extent
